It's that time of year again! This will be a BIG weekend! If you would like to host your home for MSers or HSers that weekend, let us know because most of the groups have been taken. The option of being a co-host is STRONGLY encouraged also. The host families could really use help carting the kids around and such.
There will be 800+ kids at this event, all of the services are held at FBC Douglasville. The other churches coming are: First Baptist of Douglasville, First Baptist of Lithia Springs, New Canaan Baptist Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Central Baptist Church, The Church at Chapelhill and Ephesus Baptist Church. I don't have the full list, but there are at least 5 more.
There are lots of details on the attached brochure, so be sure to read it, please. 
We are going to Camp Lee, AL. Leaving Friday (17) around 5pm, and returning Sunday (19) around 2pm. I am SO very excited about this retreat as it will be MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY! (except for the chaperones) The cost is $120, and we have 38 spots. That $120 includes: 4 meals, lodging, t-shirt, and transportation. They will need money for a meal friday night, and sunday's lunch. but THAT'S IT! So i seriously hope you are considering sending your MSer on a much needed retreat weekend! I really am anticipating a great weekend with MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY!
I only have 38 spots, so the deposit is $50, and the sooner you get that in, the sooner your spot is reserved. (you CAN use your MSer's fundraising to pay for this trip)

Well we certainly have a lot planned for the next little while. I hope this calendar helps you plan your schedules (and budgets) for our major trips, through next summer. And remember, if you ever have any ministry ideas, service project suggestions, etc, be sure to let me know! You all have great ideas, and i would love to hear them! God Bless

We're talking about Spiritual Gifts this month at Engage. And I'm REALLY REALLY excited about this topic! I want these guys and girls to know that they are VALUED and that God made them unique for a reason! If you want to do any reading about these Spiritual Gifts, i suggest 1 Corinthians 12 and 14, also Romans 12. I hope this is a TRANSFORMING month for us! Be in prayer for our students and our small group leaders this month :)
